Important: Morrowlore helps families preserve memories. It is not a medical, diagnostic, developmental-assessment, or emergency service.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use are between you and the operator of Morrowlore (“Morrowlore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use Morrowlore
The service is designed for adults recording memories about a child in their care. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.
Morrowlore is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may not create accounts or submit personal information directly. Parents, legal guardians, and authorised adult caregivers may use Morrowlore to preserve memories about children of any age.
Before adding information about a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian and any other authority required by applicable law.
3. What the service does
Morrowlore lets families save voice notes, photos, videos, written memories, dates, and related details. When you choose AI-assisted processing, the service may create transcripts, titles, summaries, themes, quotes, developmental observations, and connections between moments.
These features are memory-organising tools. They do not assess, grade, diagnose, compare, or provide professional advice about a child.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for protecting your sign-in credentials and invitation codes, and for activity performed through your account. Tell the beta operator promptly through your invitation or support channel if you believe an account or invite code has been compromised.
Do not share an account between unrelated people. Use the family invitation and permission features instead.
5. Your family’s content
You keep ownership of the text, photos, audio, video, and other material you submit (“Family Content”). You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and create service-generated metadata from Family Content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the features you request.
You confirm that you have the right to submit Family Content and that doing so does not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or other rights. Avoid uploading sensitive information that is not needed for the memory you want to preserve.
We do not sell Family Content or use it to train our own or third-party foundation AI models.
6. AI-assisted features
AI processing is optional per capture. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Review it before relying on it, and use the available correction and deletion controls when something is wrong.
Do not use AI output as a substitute for medical, developmental, educational, legal, or other professional judgment. If you have a concern about a child’s wellbeing, speak with an appropriate qualified professional.
7. Family circle and invitations
Account owners can invite caregivers or relatives and choose whether they may add memories or have read-only access. Anyone you invite may see Family Content available to that family. Choose invitees carefully and review permissions when circumstances change.
Removing a family member ends their access but does not automatically delete memories they previously added to the shared family record.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Morrowlore to:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights;
- upload material you do not have permission to use;
- exploit, harm, threaten, harass, or endanger a child or any other person;
- attempt to access another family’s account or data;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security or usage controls; or
- use the service to build, train, or evaluate an unrelated AI or surveillance system without written permission.
We may restrict or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect families, the service, or others, or to comply with law.
9. Closed-beta service
Morrowlore is unfinished software. Features may change, fail, be limited, or be removed. The service may experience outages, and data loss remains possible despite reasonable safeguards. Keep copies of irreplaceable originals.
We may pause or end the beta. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to export Family Content.
10. Export, deletion, and ending use
You may stop using the service at any time. The app provides controls to export the family archive, permanently delete individual moments, and permanently delete the family account and stored media.
Deletion cannot be undone. Some limited records may remain temporarily in security logs or backups where required for safety, integrity, or legal obligations, and will age out under applicable retention practices.
11. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the beta. We remain responsible where liability cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will change the effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice through the app or the beta communication channel. Continued use after the update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
